Walter Payton Chicago Bears Framed 16X20 Photo W/ Engraved Plate
Walter Payton is considered by many to be the greatest player to ever don pads. He was quiet- humble- and generous off the field- but a relentless- hard-nosed competitor on it. Payton's style of play was distinctive and memorable. At 5'-10''- Payton wasn't a large player- nor was he a ''breakaway'' runner- but at a concrete-like 200 pounds- Payton's forte was power and quickness. Upon his retirement- Payton held numerous NFL records including most rushing yards in a career (16-726) and most rushing yards in a game (275). His #34 jersey will never again be worn by another Chicago Bear. “Sweetness” was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993.
