Brandon Jacobs is a star on the rise. A fourth-round pick in the 2005 NFL draft after stints at Coffeyville, Auburn and Southern Illinois, the talented running quickly made his presence felt on the New York Giants and against their opponents. He led all rookies with seven rushing touchdowns in 2005, rushed for nine TDs as a goal-line specialist in 2006, and in 2007, after becoming Big Blue's primary running back, rushed for 1,009 yards and four TDs, and caught two passes for TDs as well. But that is exactly what happened. Today, he is the starting right end for Big Blue. During the 2005 campaign, Umenyiora achieved career highs with 48 tackles, 22 assists and 14.5 sacks, and his stellar play helped lead the Giants back to the playoffs in 2007.
